Free tomato, pepper and some fuchsia and eggplants remain from the Nathan Hale Plant Sale. They are sitting outside the fence of the greenhouse above JAMS. Take what you want but please leave the flats behind…bring along boxes for the plants. Also, pots can be returned by leaving them outside the greenhouse gate.

The Used Book Sale is Back!
Just in time to get books for summer vacation, the John Rogers Used Book Sale is back. The sale will be held the week of June 1st and books will be available for purchase before school, during lunch and after school in the hallway outside the library. As always, all books are only 25 cents.

We currently have enough books for this sale and don’t need any more donations (but hold on to your gently loved children’s and young adult books for the next sale!). Thank you for understanding.

Have a passion for books and want to help? Please contact Laura Spring at 206-524-8865 or laura@springnet.org. Happy reading!

The Year Book committee needs photos!
We are compiling photos of all the great kids at John Rogers. Now is the time to submit your photos of field trips, class events, school events, clubs, and kids on the playground or just sights from around the school. Simply submit photos via email to Oksana Zarodnyuk (zarodnyukok@gmail.com) or Robin Goodman (rgoody44@msn.com) or drop off a CD/zip drive (it will be returned to you!) in the PTA box in the office. Your photos will help secure this year's special memories in the Year Book for the kids. If you enjoy working with digital images and are interested in helping with the year book, please contact Oksana or Robin.

PTA Board and Program/Event Coordinator Positions Available
