Hunger Intervention Program

The Hunger Intervention Program (HIP) partners with John Rogers to offer extra food help when school is out and school meals are not available.  Each Friday, participating students discretely receive a bag of food, free of charge.  HIP hosts “packing parties” to put together these packs once a month, on the first Thursday of the month.  All John Rogers students and their adults can join in helping at these packing parties.  Please note, students can not be dropped off alone.

Packing parties are held, the first Thursday of each month from 3:15 to 4:30 PM and the first Wednesday of each month from 5:00 to 6:30 PM at Lake City Presbyterian Church – 3814 NE 123rd Street, Seattle.
